Neil Deland has been Principal Horn of The Toronto Symphony Orchestra since 2016 and has performed often with the Saito Kinen Orchestra and Mito Chamber Orchestra as well as guesting with The Boston Symphony. Prior to moving to Toronto Neil freelanced in Boston for 18 years and played with nearly every ensemble in New England including The Boston Symphony and The Boston Pops. A graduate of The New England Conservatory his influential teachers were Eric Kodner, Gus Sebring, and Julie Landsman.
